Why use a tracker instead of memory?
Vindication can get chaotic, especially when you're juggling multiple paths, favors, and upgrades. The Action Tracker gives you a physical reminder of what you've already done, so you don't accidentally repeat an action or skip one entirely. The dual-layer design lets you slide the toggle to expose a colored indicator when the action is completed, making it easy to glance at your board and know your status.
How to set up and use the tracker
- Place the tracker in your play area: Set the tracker in front of you, within easy reach. Orient it so the four slots are clearly visible and the toggles slide smoothly. Common mistake: placing it off to the side where you might forget to check it.
- Toggle each slot as you perform the action: When you Activate, Move, Visit, or Use a Favor, slide the corresponding toggle to the Active position. The colored indicator shows you've already done it. Checkpoint: always toggle immediately after the action, not at the end of your turn.
- Reset the tracker after your turn ends: Before the next player starts, slide all four toggles back to the Inactive position. This ensures a clean start for your next turn. Common mistake: forgetting to reset, which leads to confusion on the next round.
